Massage Therapy in Millcreek, UT

Licensed massage therapy in a chiropractic office — therapeutic, relaxation, and auto injury sessions from 30 to 90 minutes

Massage Therapy at a Chiropractic Office in Millcreek

Most massage in the Salt Lake Valley is booked at a day spa. Ours is booked at a chiropractic office — and that changes what a session is for. Our licensed massage therapist works in the same building as a chiropractor who evaluates spines and soft tissue all day, which means massage here is usually aimed at a specific problem: a low back that keeps tightening, a neck that has not loosened since a car accident, shoulders that carry a desk job.

That said, you do not need to be a chiropractic patient, and you do not need a diagnosis. Plenty of people book simply because they want an hour of quiet and a good full-body massage. Both are welcome, and the menu below covers both.

Our Three Massage Services

Therapeutic Massage is the clinical option. It uses deeper, slower, more targeted pressure — deep tissue work, trigger point release, and myofascial techniques — and it concentrates on the areas causing you trouble rather than covering the whole body evenly. Choose this if you have a specific complaint.

Classic Signature Massage is our full-body relaxation session, in the Swedish tradition: flowing, even pressure across the whole body at a comfortable depth. Choose this if the goal is to unwind, decompress, and leave feeling lighter.

Auto Accident Massage — listed as Auto Case in our booking system — is for patients recovering from a motor vehicle collision, where muscle guarding, whiplash-related neck tension, and soft tissue irritation are the issue.

Sessions and Lengths

Service Session Lengths
Therapeutic Massage 30, 60, or 90 min
Classic Signature 30, 60, or 90 min
Auto Case 30 or 60 min

Current pricing for every session is listed in the online booking system, which is always up to date.

Who Performs the Massage

All massage at our office is performed by a licensed massage therapist. Dr. Cody Mecham is a chiropractor — he performs chiropractic evaluations and adjustments, not massage therapy. The two are separate services with separate providers and separate scheduling, which is why massage appointments are booked through their own system rather than our chiropractic schedule.

How Massage Works Alongside Chiropractic Care

Muscle and joint problems tend to feed each other. A joint that is not moving well leaves the surrounding muscles working overtime, and muscles locked in a guarding pattern keep pulling that joint back out of position. Addressing only one side of that loop is why some people feel great for two days and then right back where they started.

When patients receive both, massage work on the soft tissue and chiropractic work on joint motion tend to hold better together than either does alone. Many of our patients pair massage with chiropractic adjustments, back pain treatment, or neck pain care.

Choosing a Session Length

  • 30 minutes — focused work on one area, such as the neck and shoulders or the low back. A good maintenance interval or a first try.
  • 60 minutes — the most commonly booked length. Enough time for full-body work, or thorough attention to two or three problem areas.
  • 90 minutes — full-body work without rushing, or deep, unhurried attention to stubborn areas. Best for chronic tension.

Book a Massage Online

Massage sessions are performed by our licensed massage therapist. Chiropractic evaluation, diagnosis, and adjustments are performed by Dr. Cody Mecham, a licensed chiropractor — he does not perform massage therapy. When a patient receives both, the two work from the same understanding of your case. This page is reviewed against the site's editorial policy and is paired with supporting content on the blog and education hub.

Massage Therapy FAQs

Do I need to be a chiropractic patient to book a massage?

No. Massage appointments are open to anyone and are booked through our massage therapist's own online scheduling system. You do not need a referral, a diagnosis, or an existing relationship with the chiropractic side of the office.

Who performs the massage?

A licensed massage therapist. Dr. Cody Mecham is a chiropractor and performs chiropractic evaluations and adjustments; he does not perform massage therapy. They are separate services with separate providers.

What is the difference between Therapeutic and Classic Signature massage?

Therapeutic Massage is targeted clinical work using deeper pressure, trigger point release, and myofascial techniques, focused on specific problem areas. Classic Signature is a full-body relaxation massage in the Swedish tradition, using flowing, even pressure at a comfortable depth. Therapeutic addresses a complaint; Classic Signature is about relaxation and recovery.

Where can I see massage pricing?

Current pricing for every session is listed in the online booking system alongside real-time availability. Because rates and openings change, the booking system is the accurate source rather than a printed price on this page.

How long are massage sessions?

Sessions are offered in 30, 60, and 90-minute lengths. Thirty minutes suits focused work on a single area, 60 minutes is the most commonly booked, and 90 minutes allows full-body work or deep attention to stubborn areas without rushing.

Can I book massage and chiropractic on the same day?

Often, yes, but they are scheduled through separate systems, so the two appointments are booked separately. Call the office at (801) 590-8615 if you would like help lining them up on the same day.
